Fashion-PRobe features Jeffrey Rogador – a young Filipino fashion designer, an alumnus of Fashion Institute of the Philippines, and part of the prestigious Philippine Fashion Week since 2007. He's the winner of “The BEST” Jeans Award in JEANSATION-2.
A fashionable men's clothing line has been presented during Azur Lapis Lazuli's Fall/Winter collection 2009 fashion show. It was held in The Ramp Man at Edsa Shangri-la Plaza Mandaluyong, Philippines.
It was May 16 when Lassalle College International-Manila 2010 graduates showcased their talent in fashion design, held at SM Mall of Asia. Their theme for this year is "The Contemporary Filipina". As a commencement project, the fashion designers were commissioned to present their creation of traditional Filipino costumes using native or home-grown materials.
You would probably ask why I have been shooting fashion and models without me getting any formal education on fashion photography. My simple response would be that I want to know first what I don’t know. Well, after all the independent shoots, which I did to unravel things I don’t know in fashion photography, I ended up wanting for more.
I was browsing through the articles on Digital Photographer Philippines Issue #33 when I found the photography work of Jim Paredes. I'm impressed that this musician, producer, writer, television personality (best known for being one-third of the APO Hiking Society), is also doing an amazing work in the field of photography.
Last year I took the Fashion Photography Workshop with Raymund Isaac which improved my shooting skills. Others would ask me, “What are the photography workshops that I would recommend them taking?” and on top of my list is Raymund's workshop.
The year 2011 for ShutterClique photography club was concluded by the creative portraiture workshop facilitated by the seasoned fashion photographer Raymund Isaac.
The homme shoot has gotten our team of stylists very excited during its preparations and on the shoot day also, I wonder why.
Second project on FIP's Fashion Photography Course is about Lookbook and ready-to-wear clothing. Majority of the lookbooks today are using plain background and the focus is on the clothing. For this shoot we used plain background and colored gel lighting.
This what we have achieved on our attempt to shoot avant-garde. Krystal modeled for us during this shoot. I believe it was Rain, from the styling class, who requested for her but unfortunately he wasn't able to participate during the actual shoot due personal reasons.
